Maintaining products when producers don’t supply

Obsolescence occurs when a producer decides to no longer supply a (partial) product or an associated service (such as technical support). The consequence is that the maintainability of products in use is at risk. We scrutinized the total chain, from producer to supplier(s) to OEM to customers or end users. The ambition was to solve obsolescence problems for customers or end users in an effective and efficient manner that does not endanger operational availability.
